A few words from CallanCMP...

Hello everybody! This is CallanCMP here! I am 14 years old and I live in Dartmoor. I have an extremely massive musical mind and I thought that I should share it with you.

I have been playing the guitar for more than 5 years. I first met Jon in January 2022. He has really helped me improve my guitar skills and has enabled me to get my rap music out there in only 10 months!

My favourite type of music is rap. I have been heavily influenced by loads of rappers and it has motivated me to use this type of talent as a way of showing what I've got and getting noticed. I have over 100 songs on Youtube and most of them are rap.

In January 2021, with my 13th birthday exactly 2 weeks away, I was sitting down near my window in my bedroom. An idea that would change my life appeared in my head and it was about making a rap song. At that time, I wasn't good at making rap songs but when I was writing the lyrics down, I managed to create something good. It took days to finish writing and I eventually released a track onto YouTube. Since then, I have been constantly writing loads of lyrics and I have stacks of paper tucked in my desk drawer. I have also been constantly releasing rap songs because I feel like it is now a part of my life.

My main hobby outside of music is football. I play for a local grassroots team and I have loads of fun with them.

I have a dog called Bagheera who is a Cocker Spaniel and a cat called Maggie. My family have a lot of horses plus chickens & ducks.
