Hello and welcome to my page.

As a working musician for 35 years I've spent the last 20 mainly as a private guitar tutor, gigging singer/guitarist and recording studio engineer/producer.
You could say I live and breathe for music.

When I'm not singing or playing guitar you'll find me recording original material or backing tracks for tribute cabaret acts and solo musicians.

I have a relaxed chilled temperament and all the necessary patience required when confronted by a pupils frustration or reluctance to follow instruction.

I'm comfortable teaching all ages and hand or body size is never an issue as there's always a guitar that'll fit nicely... Yes people often mention their hand size when approaching me ;)

I feel the key to unlocking someones true potential is to approach a problem or particular difficulty from the most suitable angle which can sometimes only be discovered by completely changing my teaching methods or simply correcting a pupils already present bad habits and technique.
It's as exciting for me as it is for the guitarist concerned when they break through the seemingly impossible barriers.

I'm not a clock watcher or teacher who likes to stack lessons back to back... So you'll never feel rushed or overlooked.

So, whether it's a hobby, a life skill, to impress someone or just for fun.
